Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The radio is either turning off due to an internal failure or a loss of power or ground to it. A loss of power or ground could be a wiring issue, possibly an internal fuse box issue or bad ignition switch, but the ignition switch shouldn't be a concern if you aren't losing any other electrical items at the same time.

Have the radio powers and ground been tested at the time it won't work?
