I have a 1989 jeep wrangler my headlights tail lights and blinkers work but when i push brake pedal brake lights wont come on any thoughts

Hello and thanks for using JustAnswer! It is very likely your stop lamp switch has high resistance in the internal contacts. The stop lamp switch is located on the brake pedal assembly, i recommend replacing this switch. Disconnect battery ground cable.Disconnect electrical connector for stop light switch.Remove bolt and locknuts attaching brake pedal to stop light switch and pushrod.Remove stop light switch and bushings from brake pedal.Reverse procedure to install.If you could kindly rate my service it would be very appreciated so i can receive credit.
