My 2006 Jeep Commander heat incidator rose to pass the "H" code. There was plenty of coolant is auto. I waited till egine cooled down. It starte went about a mile before it overheated again. I towed to my mechanic. He said it was the water pump or the theostat. Asked if I had ever repalced the time chain. Truck will start but not fire up ? Need help

the engine will physically crank over and not fire up ?is the shop saying the timing chain is causing this issue of not starting ?
