Customer: we tried changing the little battery inside the key but the alarm didnt reset ?

Hi .

First disconnect the battery wait 10 minutes ,

Reconnect battery .

With your key lock then unlock the doors this should deactivate the alarm system.

And should be able to start the engine .

With the FOB its known that if you have a problem with the function you will need to have this reprogrammed.

There are no on board self programming for this system.

You will need to call out your local Locksmith which will save you a lot of cash no towing fees and they come to you .
