Customer Question

I have a 2014 Jk, the battery is showing 12.6 volts but the jeep is dead. Not even the dome light comes on
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: Tested with a volt meter and power from the battery should be going to the jeep but nothing works, no lights, nothing
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Jeep Mechanics generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

Greetings...... “Hi, I’m Don (aka MOLurch) and I look forward to helping you!”
While "Volts" are important, you need AMPs to start the vehicle.
IF you have no way of testing for AMPs, connect a Jumper or Donor Car to the Battery via Battery Cables (+) to (+) & (-) to (-).
Be sure to connect correctly
Turn OFF the Donor Cart before you try stating the Jeep
Try starting
IF it does not "crank" then there is another issue, like Connections, Fuses, Security, etc.
