Customer Question

03 GC Laredo; suddenly started skipping/missing when driving, eventually stalls, idling problems, but only after warmed up. Just changed plugs and coil boots/springs, no better. Tried swapping relays in the control center, no help.

No check engine light either...

Have you checked for any intake air leaks (especially if you have idle issues)? Possibly replace the PCV valve?

Sometimes faults will store even without a CEL on the dash- they may require two consistent trips in a row with faults to set the light off. Best to check for faults if you have a scan tool, or Autozone will do it for FREE

It's not an idling problem. It does have a tendency to show the issue during idle but the problem is lurching and running rough while driving, trying to stall while driving.

I would check for faults- due to the symptoms I would think it could be a number of things- fuel pump failing at temp, or crank speed sensor failing when it gets warmed up
