Good morning and welcome to JustAnswer!!!

If it was showing your hear hatch was open then it likely drained your battery, have you tried a jump start? What kind of vehicle do you have?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok. So it says that warning if the battery is dead? 2011 Jeep Liberty. Is the rear hatch not indicating it's closed (even though it was) a separate issue?

Can you open the hood and check the IOD fuse?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Which is that?
Expert:  Brad replied 1 year ago.

It should show IOD on the cover.

Did you check the fuse?
