I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty. The ESP BAS light comes on along

Customer Question

I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty. The ESP BAS light comes on along with the stability light (car symbol with skidding marks). It was analyzed as a clock spring. The clock spring was replaced at a cost of $900.00 and now the lights come on all the time, as soon as the car is started and put into gear. Is there some simple adjustment that needs to be made to make this work correctly?

Good afternoon and welcome to JustAnswer!!!

What codes do you have? And was the clockspring relearned with a WiTech scantool?

Don't know the answers to these. I'll have to find these out. I am the car owner not the mechanic. These are good questions to ask.

If you can get the codes from the airbag and ABS module and post them here I can tell you how to fix it.

Since I haven't got a reply I'm guessing you have it fixed....

Glad I could help and thank you for the positive rating,

Brad

Haven't gotten the jeep back in to get the readings yet, but I will send along as soon as I have them.
