Hi there. Thanks for using our service!

Before I can formulate a diagnosis, I need you to tell me...

  • why was the tail lamp replaced?
  • was there any body damage?
  • were there any damaged wires?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Light bulb went out. Replaced bulb it works now. The socket was a little black. Tried a new socket but wouldn't work so I swapped socket with backup light socket both now work but now no odometer tach rightside parking light or heater control light. Rightside blinker works

OK. So, here are a few more questions:

  • did the problem start right after you swapped the sockets? How did you do that swap, did you cut and splice the wires?
  • Pull out the instrument cluster but don't disconnect it. Turn the headlamps on. Get your voltmeter to test the wire on the instrument cluster connector; is there voltage at the Orange wire and ground at the Black/Light Green?
