I have a 2002 wrangler that I bought and it has 31in. tire

Customer Question

Hi I have a 2002 wrangler that I bought and it has 31in. tire and a 3 in. lift in it. I test drove it and this thing was all over the road. the streering is tight with no play in it. I thought it just needed front end work and be good to go. Took it in and they put ball joints in the right side and alinged it. they did a 4 wheel alianment on it and it isn't much better. Any ideas? I had other jeeps as in cj and yj with lifts in them and they never drove this bad.

Hello and welcome! My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with your question. This condition is usually caused by the incorrect/oversized tires and the lift kit. The first thing that should be done to fix this condition is to put everything back to stock and that usually does the trick.

Was this problem happening before these aftermarket components were installed?
