Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

You may have more than one issue going on. If the light on the shifter is the only light not working then that bulb is most likely blown. If you meant that the instrument cluster illumination is not working as well then it could be the headlamp switch, wiring or a blown fuse.

Does the speedometer not show vehicle speed or did you mean the instrument cluster illumination doesn't work?
