99 Cherokee 4.0 idle control motor will not respond. P0505 codes. tried 2 new IAC motors, new programmed PCM. wires from IAc to PCM [ok] only other problem is speedo not reading, clear codes and on 2nd start up Po505 comes up

Can also raise idle with scanner but will not respond to come down

Scanned input and output sensors on transmission - [ok] replaced speed sensor on t-case - no change Did the test on the gauge cluster, all gauges working fine, removed ground on fire wall and cleaned [common problem] no change

P0505 is for an IAC control circuit issue. Possible causes are the IAC, PCM and wiring. If the PCM and IAC have been replaced I'm sure the issue is wiring. Normally the issue is where the harness wraps around the back side of the head.
How was the wiring tested?
