Googled common problems, known issues exist with jeep witless control modules but wireless control appears to work, sounds as clicking like starter solenoid not picking up

Don't bother, AAA on the way

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!
If you hear a clicking from the engine compartment then it's not going to be a wireless control module issue.
If you're hearing a rapid clicking it is due to low voltage available to the starter. This could be a cable or connection issue or a dead battery, the battery would be most likely.
If you're hearing a single click it could also be a connection issue but it's more likely to be the starter itself or a connection issue between the starter solenoid terminal and wire where they crimp together.
