Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!
There are many things that could be causing the engine to not start. it could be a wiring, cam or crank sensor issue, it could be fuel related, or it's possible that you could still be fighting a cam timing issue. It sounds as if there may have been a cam timing problem initially if putting it in time again allowed it to start before.
Are any fault codes setting?
Have you checked fuel pressure?
