To make this job easier and to prevent breakage of the plastic clips, there is a special tool - Trim Stick / Clip Removal Tool - that you can usually rent from any local "big chain" parts store.

  • Remove trim plug from mirror flag bezel.
  • Remove three screws attaching trim panel to door
  • Using a trim stick C-4829 or equivalent, detach trim panel perimeter push-in fasteners from door inner panel.
  • Lift trim panel upward and separate from door.
  • Disconnect latch rods from inside handle actuator.
  • Disconnect harness connectors for power accessories.
  • Separate trim panel from vehicle.

  • Connect harness connectors to power accessories.

  • Connect latch rods to inside handle actuator.

  • Position trim panel on door inner panel.

  • Press trim panel push-in fasteners inward around perimeter of door.

  • Install screws attaching trim panel to door

  • Install trim plug in mirror flag bezel.

Unfortunately, due to Just Answer terms of service, you are required to start a new question if your "follow-up" does not pertain to the original question. (sorry! their rules, not mine!!)
