white smoke is usually from the engine burning antifreeze you either have a blown head gasket or a cracked cylinder head
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Why does the liquid coming from tailpipe smell like raw fuel what can i do to test for a cracked head. Don't understand fuel consumtion.
Expert:  b5demon replied 7 years ago.
the coolant in the system causes a bad signal from the oxygen sensor and causing it to use more fuel and the fuel smell is because not all the fuel is being burned in the cylinder that has the blown head gasket there are kits available from parts stores to check the cooling system for sign of exhaust gas also you could do a pressure test on the cooling system to see if it holds pressure the only way to really check a head for cracks is to remove the head and inspect it

Could it also be a head gasket?
