HelloCustomer/p>

I can assist you with that question, but I need a little bit of information.

First off, is it the automatic system, or the manual one?

Do you have and can you use a 12 volt test light?

Ok-let me do a bit of research on the system-I'll get right back to you, OK?

Ok-I have some information. With the automatic system, there is a self-test that can be run, but we need to check the basics first. Fuse #1 in the Power Distribution center under the hood is the 40 amp blower motor fuse that needs checked first. Make sure its good, then, locate the blower motor control module down by the blower motor. Follow the wires from the blower motor. Disconnect the three-wire connector from the Blower control module and carefully inspect the pigtail for signs of overheating.

Jeep is having trouble with the module being taken out by a blower motor that is drawing too many amps. Unfortunately, the blower control module gets damaged at a lower amperge than the 40 amp fuse.

If the pigtail is good, check for power to the red wire of the three-wire connector. There should be power there all the time, key ON or OFF.
