How much will it cost to replace the transmission in my Jeep

Resolved Question:

How much will it cost to replace the transmission in my Jeep Grand Cherokee? It has 92,000 miles and I'm just not sure that it is worth it. It is not a 4W drive.

HiCustomer If you are talking about putting a rebuilt transmission in the vehicle it will be around $3-$4000, If you are worried about the cost then why don't you look for a used one which should be half the price.
If you take the vehicle to a transmission shop it could be less than the rebuilt one depending what is wrong with it.
I know not very good news.

I hope I have been helpful,

Hi. Thanks. If it is that expensive and the value of the car is only about $3700-$4500 once it is fixed, it seems as if I should just forget about fixing it? Thanks!

If you could find a used one then it might work for you.
