This answer was rated:

1997 jeep grand cherokee, No start and has no spark, no injector pulse, no fuel pressure, and no power at the obd11 connector. All the fuses check out ok. Can you help?

I need a little more information. When you turn the key on do gauges and check engine light come on or are they inoperative.

Thank you, Marsyla

yes the gauges come on and the check engine light is also on with all the other lights on the dash working too.

There are a couple of things that could cause this problem. First check the ASD (auto shut down) relay in the power distribution box located behind the battery. Try swapping it with another similar relay in the box. The location of the relay is usually stamped on the cover. This relay powers up the computer. If the vehicle still does not start. Then you could have a shorted sensor. The crank shaft position sensors have had a problem shorting out and causing some of the symptoms that you have. You could unplug the sensor and then check to see if you have power to the ODB II connector. If you do have power at the connector then the sensor is shorted to ground pulling down the voltage.

If these do not correct the problem let me know. If they do correct the problem then please click accept.
