First check the height sensor connections as well as the linkages and brackets for any damage. Then start the engine and open/close the driver door. Open the trunk and have yourself and your friend sit on the back of it so the rear drop down. Keep weight on it to see if the compressor engages and starts to lift the front. Let me know.
