Good Afternoon, my name is ***** ***** ill be helping you, so sorry to hear about the issues on the Jaguar here, Jaguars are very picky about their voltages like any european car so yes the best first step we can take here is to ensure that battery voltage is good. if that checks out our next step should be scanning with a factory level tool to see what trouble code has been set to turn on that light so we can see what were dealing with here. we can see if that shop has the capability of doing a transmission service, fresh fluid and a new filter however i would not suggest we go deeper than that without the code first.
