Aloha. I am trying to find out all the parts I need to buy to replace my front and back sway bars on my 06 XJ8. A complete kit purchase would be great, but can't seem to find one. I may have to buy each separately. Any advice? Thank you.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your XJ8 yourself? What have you tried so far?

I've had a mechanic briefly look while trying to change out my tires. He says I'm in need, now. So, I'll have a mechanic do the install, but I want to purchase the parts.

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you ever changed a tire on this vehicle?

Not yet. I purchased used a couple fo months ago.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I'll need a serpentine belt part, but I can manage that. Thank you.

Are you sure its just not the links and bushings but the entire sway bar and everything attached to it ?

That's a good question. He specifically cited links/bushings and, perhaps, ball joints. But, no. I don't recall him saying the bars needed replacement.No, I do not prefer a call. I truly would like to know what I need to do/buy to bolster this area of my suspension.
