VerifiedHelloNoises can be difficult to diagnose through this type of forum. I can tell you that shocks really are not very common for failijng on these vehicles. They would also be covered under the standard factory warranty of your years 50000 miles along with most other suspension components. It could be a control arm bushing especially the front trailing arms as I have replaced a few. It could even be brake related. We need to see if we can reproduce the noise in any other way. First see if the noise is only there just before coming to a stop. Then see if hitting any bumps produces thje same noise. Next drive on a smooth road and when clear move thbe steering side to side shifting the weight of the vehicle side to side to see if you can create that same type of thump.Let me know.
