Hi Larry, my name is***** are quite a few possibilities for the coolant leak. The most common leak towards the front would be from the plastic thermostat housing or from the bypass pipe between the two heads. There are some other hoses and the water pump in that area that could be leaking as well. You will need to pressure test the cooling system to properly check for leakage. If you cannot perform the pressure test I would inspect around the thermostat housing. Also, inspect the plastic lines that come from the coolant expansion tank. Whenever I take one of these apart to fix coolant leaks I try to be very thorough with the plastic pieces as they all tend to fail and leak eventually. The water pump could be leaking but it is less likely to be the problem.

In regards ***** ***** tensioners, it's definitely a good idea to replace them with the updated tensioners before you have a problem. If you plan on keeping the car I would go ahead and replace them.

Let me know if you need anything else.
