Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your XF yourself? What have you tried so far?

I replaced battery

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? And can you see if it's leaking or not?

New and original battery

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Now the car is in safe mode cannot switch on

In some cases this can require a dealer to reprogram the theft system to allow starting.Try to lock and unlock the doors with the key or remote or interior lock and unlock button and see if this then resolves the fault here and allows starting.If this does not work at all then you may need to have this reprogrammed by a dealer to resolve this fault here.
