2008 Vanden Plas Parking Brake Fault light display and not going off. Constant Ping when car is driven

This can be caused by a few different components or circuits. We will need to have the vehicle scanned for the stored fault codes. A Jag factory tool is needed to communicate with the parking brake control module.We can trry the reset procedure first. Disconnect the negative battery cable for about thirty minutes. Do not close the trunk with the battery disconnected. After the allotted time reconnect the battery and start the engine. With the engine runnijng pump the brakes a few times then hold your foot on the brake and pull up the parking brake switch and this should reset it.Let me know.
