Thermostat bad car fan on each time driving
JA: What is the model/year of your Jaguar?
Customer: 2009 fx
JA: Are you fixing your FX yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No I was told cost $50 for thermostat and $200 labor
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: He also said if housing bad $200 more and higher labor cost is this fair. I j I just purchased a car in March of 2017 with 62,000 miles the catalytic converter had to be replaced two weeks after I purchased it which was still under warranty

it is very possible the thermostat is the root cause of the issue. As far as the price that is actually a very good price for the repair. I would make sure Jag parts are used.
