no power. nothing is on
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: i went to the garage and nothing lit up when i opened the door
JA: What is the model/year of your Jaguar?
Customer: 2011 xjl supercharged
JA: Are you fixing your XJL yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: dont know what to do. just drove it 2 days ago, never any problems
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Sounds like the battery is dead. Go under the hood and remove the plastic retainers holding the cover in the passenger rear engine compartment. Pop off the fuse box cover and you will a large fuse with a metal end coming up. Install the red positive lead of your booster there and the black ground lead to the vehicle body. This should supply enough power to open the trunk electrically to properly charge the battery. Let me know
