Customer Question

My husband has a 94 XJS. When it rains, water seems to be pooling somewhere under the hood, only to pour into the footwell when the car moves. Is this something we can fix ourselves? Is there some kind of plugged drain?
JA: Are you fixing your XJ-S yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: My husband looked at it and couldn't find the problem. I am willing to take it somewhere but wondered if it was easy, we could do it ourselves.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Well, the passenger side window doesn't lower.

Water can come from lots off places too finaly end up in footwells.

The servo unit to bulkhead is a good place. The door apertures is another good place.

If you have a sunroof it might be the drains blocked.

Get someone to sit in car whilst someone sprays watr all over watching for the leak to show.
