When I reach a high speed (75mph or higher) my screen says "restricted performance" and i dont get the speed pickup like normal.
JA: What is the model/year of your Jaguar?
Customer: 2009 Jaguar XF Supercharged
JA: Are you fixing your XF Supercharged yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I havent tried anything as of yet. Just noticed this a few days ago. It still drives normal as long as stay below 70mph. Just curious to know why it does that and what can be done to fix it.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Your problem could be caused by a number of engine sensors or actuators. It even could be an air leak. I first recommend we have the vehicle scanned for the stored fault codes before we disturb any components or connections. A Jag tool is needed to do this but we can first try a generic OBD II scan tool available at most major parts stores. The code will read a P followed by four numbers like P0171 or P2601 as some examples. We can also check the air tube connections and fittings to make sure all are secure. Let me know.
