I have a jaguar x type estate 2007. The passenger side tail

Customer Question

Hi. I have a jaguar x type estate 2007. The passenger side tail light, the driver side dip beam and the passenger side side light is not working. We have checked bulbs and fuse 1, 29 and 30 in engine compartment. Amy ideas? Thanks

Did you check or replace any bulbs? Do you have HID or standard halogen headlamps?

My other half has tried replacing bulb on front. It was only replaced about 2 months ago at mot garage. Has not tried back ones but seems to think all connected as all stopped working at same time. He has tried replacing with standard bulbs. How would I know if they were HID?

We also have issue with tailgate glass unlocking on its own but have done some research on this and going to try taking switch apart and drying out. Only mentioned in case you think it could all be connected

Did you receive my message as above. My other half has replaced the front bulbs and still not working. I am not sure how I would know if they are HID or not??

If you supply me with the last six of your VIN I can see if it has HID lighting

Did you find out about whether HID?

Your vehicle has standard halogen lighting. These lights are all on different parts of the lighting circuits. We may just have a defective bulb since it was recently replaced and the others may just be failed. We will need a digital multimeter to confirm power and ground if the lights still will not work with new bulbs. Also check the connections to each to make sure they are all clean and secure. Sometimes the ground pins burn up on the tail lamp connectors. Let me know.
