Customer Question

I have a 'both rear brake lamp failed' message. I replaced the rear control module and when I started the car, there was no message. I stepped on the brakes and the message came back on.
JA: Did you have the ECM flashed?

JA: What is the model/year of your Jaguar?
Customer: 2001 s-type 3.0

Customer: The dealer advised i needed a new RCM. they could not locate one and suggested i go with a used on.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
