Have had a small leak in the the coolant

Have had a small leak in the the coolant is not circulating and the car says no cruise control and gets hot shortly after....shut the car off and it will go again for about ten miles after a short cool down...the external cooling fan is not running to cool
JA: How old are the hoses? And have you tested the actual mix of your coolant?
Customer: Unknown...the coolant is 50/50
