My 2009 XF SC is getting a repeat message restricted

Customer Question

My 2009 XF SC is getting a repeat message restricted performance when at high speed. Restarting the car will reset code and performance is normal. It seems the supercharger is kicking out.
JA: Have you seen this code before? Have you tried a hard reset?
Customer: Unplugging the battery for 30 mins. Yes.
JA: Are you fixing your SC yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nothing yet. Like to do my research before tearing into things
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: CEL is on

we need to retrieve the fault codes from the engine modules ,can you get it scanned & post the codes back here?

if you disconnected the battery already sand came back on , it is a hard fault .

restricted performance as you know means ,car went in limp mode to prevent further damage.

it could be , plugs, coils, maf sensor , intake manifold leak ( common problem) causing a misfire , fuel pressure low etc...

the scan will narrow down for us

Please let me know

Thank You
