My 1994 Jaguar XJS convertible recently developed a leak

Customer Question

My 1994 Jaguar XJS convertible recently developed a leak underneath. Power steering was
tight and "noisy". My husband had the Power Steering hose replaced with a high pressure
one for $200. Drove it a few days, and then the same thing happened again last night.
This time it went into "limp mode" and would not drive. Do you have any suggestions?

This can get rather technical when it goes into limp mode, it's generally a safety issue. In this case it does sound like that too.

The best way to get the results for this is by attaching a scan tool to the computer system and see what codes have been stored to assist us in diagnosing it. You van also try this re-learn procedure i attached for you, It won't fix the leak, but it may take it out of limp mode

Thanks, Ron
