It wont start, l parked it a few hours ago and it was fine,

JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: l parked it a few hours ago and it was fine
JA: What is the model/year of your Jaguar?
Customer: it just makes a clicking sound when l try and start it and the needle moves but no crank
JA: What year is your Jaguar?
Customer: xj350 4.2 v8 2005
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: l want it to start at least so l can take it to a mechanic
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: lve been having gearbox problems but thats just it sticking in 3rd gear sometimes

1- Can we check battery level for voltage?

2- try hooking up a battery charger or booster back and try to started .

the clicking sound , could be a low battery voltage .

does the interior lights dims down when you attempt to start it
