The dash board reads: park brake requires calibration, apply foot and park brake.
JA: How long has this been an issue? How many miles are on the car?
Customer: Just last night. 48,000 miles. My key lost It's signal and car wouldn't start, once locksmith fix it then that warning sign and charming noise started once car was put in drive.

Start the engine and pump the brakes. Then hold your foot on the brake and pull up the parking brake switch and this should recalibrate the parking brake.
