why is no pulse on the injector #6 and # ***** CYLINDERS ON A 2005 JAGUAR XK8 4.2

Those are the only two cylinders with no injector pulse? To confirm 6 and 8 would be the two rear cylinders on the driver side. Do you have power to those injectors?

OK it is either a bad ECM or wiring fault. Go to the ECM connector in the passenger rear of the engine compartment. Look for any corrosion or loose pins. It is pin 112 and 118 for those two cylinders. We can try running new wires real quick to see if the problem is corrected. Let me know.
