Customer Question

I have a 2003 XKR. A warning message has appeared stating "Check rear Lights" and Cruise control inoperable." The code says to replace break light switch. The brake lights and rear lights work fine. As a break light switch is expensive, I want to know if this is causing the fault? There was also a code for faulty rear left door - but I don't have any rear doors?

When both those warnings are on it is usually a bad switch. There is two brake switches in the unit so one has most likely failed.
