2003 jag. 1647code. Change highest positioned o2 censor way up top. Just under the horizontal coolant hose. Cleared it light came back while driving

Did you use a Jag part?

Did you replace it on the front or bank exhaust?

I think it was a 68$ one from auto z.....rand it was the one front up top pointing to the cooling fan

The one in the highest spot and no it I am sure was an after market one

Ok yes that code usually indicates a bad sensor and it is the top upper sensor on the front exhaust. I do see issues with aftermarket sensors which is why I recommend the Jag parts. We should make sure we have voltage to the heater so we will need a digital multimeter to test the circuit.
