If you can't afford to replace the rotors on the brakes but you replace the pads what else can you do to stop the squeaks from the breaks?

Hi I'm Kevin. You can with a small grinder or file take the unevenly worn edges off of the rotors to make them smooth again as it's the flat pads hitting the uneven parts that cause the squealing
