Hey Richard I have a 2002 xj8 sport. the eng failsafe light is on, no asc available, no trac available and the check eng light just came on.

Usually when all those warnings come on and the vehicle goes into limp mode this is caused by a fault with the electronic throttle system. To be sure we will need to have the vehicle scanned for the stored fault codes. A Jag factory tool will be needed but we can try an OBD II tool available at your local parts store. If we can get a fault code it will help in pinpointing the problem. Let me know.
