Hello, MAF sensor was replaced, and the intake tested. But I do not know if it was smoke tested.

You didn't comment on MAP?

I have arranged the mechanic to clean MAP sensor this friday, and I also called the dealer. They told me that the MAP and MAF work in tandem, and that any air leak in the intake manifold would cause a check engine light. (They have also checked the manifold themselves before, and could not find any problems.)

Depending on how the cleaning will go, I will probably order a new MAP sensor.

Will report back this friday.

Re the smoke test - no-one has the smoke machine, which includes the dealer. I called four respectable shops, and they didn't even heard about that. I guess we are too small country.

OK, so I've been to two specialists.

Back to the dealership - they tested the car again and told me that all the sensors are fine, including MAP, and that I shouldn't replace it.

Been to the other buys, who checked turbo. They checked all the intake lines, etc, and could find no leaks. They also took a look at the turbo, and found no leaks there, either.

The car moves well, but there is that idling issue. - Any other ideas to check?

I've done several things in the meantime. I've been to vacation, and have done 1300 Km, both highway and normal roads.

Other thing is that I've been to third specialist who told me that the whining is probably due to damaged exhaust impeller.

The other thing I noticed that the car releases a lot of smoke after I press it hard after driving at constant speed. Also it is worse first 30-40 minutes of driving, afterwards the situation gets better.

Is this logical? - Leaking turbo that doesnt compress well, thus the engine get fed rich, thus smoking?
