Jaguar XJ8 L: I am working on a 2006 Jag XJ8L that needs the

This answer was rated:

I am working on a 2006 Jag XJ8L that needs the headliner and sunroof panel re-covered. Where do I start? I normally do these for the local dealership, but I haven't encountered this body style

eurotec :

Hi, on the XJ8L the headliner should come out the rear door. On the short wheel base cars it has to come out the back window. The rear glass needs to be removed in order to remove the headliner. Since you have an L you should be fine coming out the left rear door. Click here for the workshop instructions to remove the headliner.

Customer:

How does the sunroof panel come out?

Customer:

BTW, The removal instructions were perfect

eurotec :

The sunroof panel should just slide out once the headliner is removed. I don't recall if you have to pull the roof panel out. I'll attach the instructions.

eurotec :

I don't show anything specifically for the trim panel.

Customer:

This is what I need. Thank you
