I have an 1988 xjs 3.6 it has been sorn for a couple of years,I don't have a battery for it but have the chance of a MULTI CELL AGM 12v 125ah (seal valve regulated lead acid) for
a cheap price could you tell me if it suitable

eurotec :

Hi Jim, as long as the battery is the correct size and will fit in the trunk you are fine using a sealed AGM battery. The specs on the battery are fine it's the dimension that is critical in this case. The numbers you posted do not tell me the dimensions. If you can get the group size I can tell you if it will fit or you can just measure the battery. Your car uses a Group 34 battery. The dimensions are Length - 10 1/4" Width - 6 7/8" and Height - 7 3/4".
