Hi, the 6HP26 transmission holds 10 liters of fluid. I would plan on using 8 liters when replacing the pan gasket.

That may be all you're going to get out when pulling the pan if you don't let it drain awhile. The Jaguar manual says to refill with 8 liters and carry out a level check. If you only got 4 out I'd only put 4 back in and then check the fluid level.
