Hello and welcome to justanswer.com

Unfortunately when the traction icon is flashing the system will need to be re calibrated. This can only be done with a Jag tool as it will recalibrate the active booster and steering sensor.

what are the actual steps?
Expert:  Richard replied 5 years ago.
This can only be done with a Jag tool but it first calibrates the booster by having gently push down the brake pedal and for the steering angle sensor the front wheels are jacked up and the steering is turned from lock to lock a couple of times.
