Doc. Jaguar :
A scan tool is needed to clear the faults in the control module only. If you remove the black module on the side of the ABS pump and work the lid off you will see a melted solder connection. Repair the solder connection and have the dealer or capable Jaguar repair shop clear the fault codes and your good to go.

Sorry for the delay, have been changing my ISP and lost my broadband for about a week. I'm happy with the answer and take it that apart from the scan tool, there's nothing special that I need to get the job completed. Many thanks for your advice, found a bad contact in the black module. Just need to reset the error code to see if things are ok now!
