Sorry for the delay
Go under the hood and locate the fuse box on the passenger side. Hook the red positive jumper lead of your charger or booster to the power cable going to that fuse box which should be under the rubber boot. Then install the black ground lead of your booster to the vehicle body. This will give enough power to open the trunk with the switch or remote.
