It seems like one of the wheel speed sensors may dropping the wheel speed signal making the abs unit think one wheel is locked or spinning too fast. However it may be a problem with the traction control unit itself. Before any parts are changed, the abs unit must be checked with a jag or high end scan tool to see what actually is happening. A wheel speed sensor is not real expensive. A control unit is so be sure to have the codes checked with the right tool before you make any moves.
